Musk Hill is
the home of Pat
Eddery Racing. Set in over 100
acres of beautiful Buckinghamshire
countryside, it has been home to Pat
and his family since 1980 and is now home to Pat Eddery, the trainer.

It is the ideal setting to breed and
keep horses. From the moment you enter
the estate and pass down the two furlong
drive from the electronic wooden gates
to the main house, lined with oak and
copper beech trees, you know this is
an equine haven. The panoramic views
of the Vale of Aylesbury are breathtaking
as horses graze peacefully in lush paddocks,
bounded by post and rail fencing on either
side of the drive.
There is a rustic
charm to Musk
Hill
wherever you walk and this atmosphere
pervades the whole farm, despite recent
massive investment into stabling and
the latest in equine facilities.
The
airy American-style
barn complex contains
over 30 boxes, feed room, hay barn, weighing machine and automatic horse walker.
Combined
with the Bottom Yard, there is now stabling
for 50
horses in total.
All the trotting and gallops facilities
are state-of-the-art all-weather and
they include a new seven furlong
gallop and a one and a half furlong trotting ring. In
addition, there is a 1,300 square metre
outdoor school and a secluded lunging
pen, both ideal for breaking in yearlings.
Finally,
there is the Racing Office which
brings together the old and the new. Adorned with memorabilia
of Pat's finest racing achievements over five decades, it is
equipped with the latest in telecommunications and computer
technology. You will find a relaxing environment in which to
peruse the pedigrees of yearlings available over a coffee before wandering around the yard to see the horses for yourself.
