The Partnerships
Enjoy the thrill of watching your horse at the races. Go in the parade ring before the race, watch the race in the exclusive owners area at the racecourse, and perhaps greet your horse in the winners' enclosure. Visit the stable to see your horse in his box and on the gallops. All of this, if you take a share in a partnership horse.
Our 2 year partnerships are based on a 2 payment scheme:- the first payment is made on joining the partnership, and the second payment becomes due in the January of the beginning of the second year. (VAT is payable but is recoverable through our sponsorship arrangement in accordance with Jockey Club Rules).
The price you pay includes the purchase price of the horse, the monthly training fees, feed, supplements and veterinary costs. It also includes the costs associated with racing including the transport of the horse, jockey and entry fees. It also entitles you to 1 owners' badge each time your horse runs. It does not include, however, costs of racing outside the UK (the owners will be consulted before any entries are made for races outside the UK, and informed of associated costs before any decision is made to enter the horse). You will be paid out any prize monies at regular intervals throughout the partnership term.
At the end of the second season the owners decide, with the advice of Pat Eddery Racing, if they wish to sell the horse or keep the horse in training. Should it be decided that the horse will be sold, the sale proceeds are shared equally among the owners.
Prices range from £2,250 upwards, plus VAT, per year.
